Non-dairy Thai Iced Tea

Thai Iced Tea with Coconut Milk

I love Thai iced tea! It’s cool and creamy and totally delicious. But when I stopped drinking dairy I gave up ordering this tasty beverage at Thai restaurants. Luckily, I found some Thai iced tea bags at the grocery store and so I’ve been experimenting with dairy free recipes. At first I wasn’t sure about using coconut milk in Thai iced tea because I heard from a couple different people that it wasn’t very good. However, I’m glad I tried it myself because I think it tastes even better than those made with dairy.

Another non-dairy option I’ve tried is to add non-dairy coffee creamer to unsweetened Thai tea. I’ve only used Silk Soy Creamer in Vanilla because that’s what we buy for our coffee and I just add it to taste. Not really a recipe but it’s another idea I wanted to put out there for those who want another option besides using coconut milk.
